David Wetherill

David Wetherill is a British international table tennis player who suffers from the rare bone development disorder Multiple Epiphyseal Dysplasia.

During the 2012 games he became known for playing what the Daily Mail called the "shot of the tournament", after diving the width of the table to return a shot and secure a point. Wetherill won a bronze medal in the singles and a silver medal in the team event at the 2015 European Championships.

Wetherill is now officially selected as a member of the GB Paralympic Table Tennis Team for the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games.

Lets wish him luck for more amazing shots to come in the Paralympic Table Tennis competition.

@Wetherill89 to follow David and his dives.
